Lighthouse Sunset Tour

Take in the spectacular sunset views and witness the Jupiter Light turning on to illuminate the night sky.  Visitors get an inside look at the nuts & bolts of a working lighthouse watchroom.  Tour time approximately 75 minutes, $15 Members, $20 Non-Members, RSVP required, 561-747-8380 X101.  Tours are weather permitting, call for tour time.  Children must be at least 48” tall to climb the tower. Lighthouse Moonrise Tour

A howling good time and spectacular evening view of a full moon from the top of the tower! Tour time approximately 75 minutes, $15 Members, $20 Non-Members, RSVP required, 561-747-8380 x101. Tours are weather permitting, call for tour time. Children must be accompanied by an adult and be at least 48” tall to climb. Hike Through History

Discover the topography and natural history of Jupiter’s National Conservation Lands historic site. This 2 mile trek passes through historic points of interest on the 120-acre Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area.  The hike departs from the flag pole at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum and is weather dependent.  Program is open to adults and children-minimum age 5, ages 13 & under must be accompanied by an adult that is at least 18 years old.  Hiker’s footwear, active wear, a hat, and a full water bottle or canteen should be carried.  Admission is free but space is limited-RSVP required 561-747-8380 X101.

Lighthouse Story Time & Crafts for Kids

Join us under the Lighthouse Seminole Chickee Hut for story time & craft activity about Lighthouse Keepers, Florida History and People & Local Plants and Animals.  Moms & Dads, this is ideal for kids ages 8 and under. Please bring a small beach/picnic mat for your child.  Program is free, space is limited, runs approximately 45 minutes, if rain-meets in West Hall. Twilight Yoga at the Light

Experience the serenity of Yoga with Mary Veal, Kula Yoga Shala,
on the Lighthouse Deck at Sunset! Every Monday (time will vary monthly based on sunset.)  This is an all levels class and beginners are welcomed and encouraged! Offered by donation. Bring a yoga mat and a flashlight. Meet at the Museum 10 minutes prior to start time, class is weather dependent-please check website for updates and future start times.

Lighthouse Book Club
Nov. 9, Dec. 14, 6-7pm
Join Museum Staff in book discussions on all things Florida! Discover the surprisingly rich heritage of our State in both fiction and non-fiction. The Lighthouse Coffee & Book Club meets the first Wednesday of every month in the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum Café.   Donation suggested.  Check our web calendar for Book reading schedule. Holiday Shop & Sip Social

The public is invited to holiday shop in a festive party atmosphere at the Museum Gift Shop with wine, tasty treats, and gift-wrapping services, and special holiday deals. All sales support the Loxahatchee River Historical Society. You must be 21 or older and provide ID. Mark your calendars and bring your friends! Please kindly RSVP 561-747-8380 x101.

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum
Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum offers climbing tours of the landmark 1860 lighthouse. The waterfront Museum in the restored WWII building exhibits Five Thousand Years on the Loxahatchee, which explores Native American, Seminole, Florida Maritime, Lighthouse, Pioneer and WWII Secret “Station J” history. Showcasing the amazing past of the Loxahatchee River region, the heritage site also features the Tindall Pioneer Homestead, Pennock Plantation Bell and Lighthouse Keepers Workshop. Also available are the museum gift shop, educational programs for children and adults, sunset tours, moonrise tours, weddings & proposals, and special events. The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is part of the 120-acre federally designated, Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area. Hiking trail and observation tower located on the north side of Beach Road. Open Tues-Sun (Open 7 days Jan-Apr,) 10 am-5 pm, last lighthouse tour leaves at 4 pm. Closed on some major holidays.
