IRCSO arrest 3 people in murder for hire plot.

Three people have been arrested in what the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office is calling a murder-for-hire plot.

Investigators say 20-year-old Christopher Narine and his father, 44-year-old Suraj Narine, conspired with two others to kill Suraj’s mother, Magdalene Narine, for a total of $10,000.

The Narines plotted to inject Magdalene with a lethal dose of insulin, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the IRCSO the  plot has been in the works for months but came to light just days ago.  Richard Thompson Jr. tipped off deputies. He told investigators he met with Suraj and Christopher who wanted him and another man, identified as Michiel “Shorty” Gene Hamons, to kill Magdalene.

The plan was to inject Magdalene with insulin and then dump her car and body in a canal near where she works.

The murder was suppose to take place on Thursday.
