IRC Sheriff: Armed robber forces employees in freezer, takes off with cash

Indian River, Fl (treasurecoast.com) – The Indian River Sheriff has reported that an armed robber forced employees in a freezer and then took off with the cash.

This is what they said:

The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred shortly before 2 p.m. Friday at the EZ Food Mart, located in the 2000 block of S. US 1.
The Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for the suspect.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing shorts, a camo hooded sweatshirt, and a mask.
He brandished a firearm and threatened to kill the employees. He then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
