Indian River County will Facilitate Two COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics Next Week for Persons 65 Years and Older

Vero Beach, FL – Today, Indian River County announced that the Florida Department of Health Indian River will hold two vaccination clinics, Wednesday, January 20, and Thursday, January 21, by-appointment only for individuals 65 years and older at the Indian River County Fairgrounds (7955 58th Avenue in Vero Beach).

The online reservation system to receive the COVID-19 vaccination through Indian River County will open on Tuesday, January 19, at 9:30 a.m. To schedule an appointment, please visit https://IRCAppointments.as.me/jan20-21. The form will not be active until registration opens Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Please call (772) 226-4000 for technical assistance in submitting an online appointment reservation or general information.

Individuals with scheduled appointments must bring a form of identification (driver’s license, passport, etc.) and wear a mask. Patrons can also save time by bringing a completed COVID-19 Vaccine Screening and Consent Form.

The limited number of COVID-19 vaccines Indian River County receives from the State of Florida determines appointment availability. At this time, walk-ups are not accepted. Please continue to check the Indian River County website (www.ircgov.com) as new appointments will be released once additional vaccines are confirmed.
