Last week, Florida Surgeon General, Dr. Scott Rivkees, signed a public health advisory prioritizing Florida residents for COVID-19 vaccinations given in Florida. This advisory outlines eligibility and proof-of residency requirements. Florida residents with scheduled appointments must bring a form of identification and wear a mask.
The limited number of COVID-19 vaccines Indian River County receives from the State of Florida determines appointment availability. At this time, walk-ups are not accepted. Please continue to check the Indian River County website (www.ircgov.com) as new appointments will be released once additional vaccines are confirmed.
