Martin County Sheriff’s Indiantown and DUI Units were on scene at the Florida Power and Light plant in Indiantown this morning after an impaired driver slammed through the gates of the power plant.

It happened just after 7:00am. The impact ripped the entire facility entrance gate off. FPL worked quickly from the control counter and notified deputies. No one was injured. The driver of the vehicle is in custody.
