Hurricane Michael now a Cat 2 hurricane
TreasureCoast, Fl- Hurricane Michael has intensified into a Category 2 hurricane with 100 mph winds. Michael is getting stronger as it moves north northwest over the Gulf of Mexico.
The storm is expected to bring life-threatening storm surge, hurricane force winds, and heavy rainfall along the northeastern Gulf Coast.
The storm is expected to become a Category 3 storm before it makes landfall sometime Wednesday.
