HSTC Pet of the Week Dec 28th: Tyson

Palm City, Fla- (treasurecoast.com) My name is Tyson and I lost my family when they could no longer afford my care. You see, I am only 12 years young and I have several mast cell tumors covering my body. So far my prognosis is good; the veterinary team here at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast removes as many as they can.

The staff tells me frequently that I am a very good boy. I seem to be completely potty-trained – my kennel is always neat and tidy. Staff says I  don’t mind the other dogs and I often ignore the dogs who try to bark at me through the kennel gates. I love my walks around the lake with the volunteers and have excellent leash manners.  Plus, I am a very chill dog and can frequently be found napping in my kennel. I am very food motivated; with the right tasty treat I bet you could teach this old dog new tricks.

To view Tyson and all of his adoptable friends stop by the HSTC main shelter at 4100 SW Leighton Farm Ave. in Palm City or visit them online at hstc1.org!
