HSTC Pet of the Week 1/5/17

HSTC Pet of the Week 1/5/17

Frankie is the most amazing cat!  He was brought to the shelter in November 2017 after being attacked by dogs.  To save his life, he needed to have his leg amputated. He has been healing up wonderfully in foster care.

It is now time for him to find his forever home and he would do best in a relaxing environment.  While in foster care he was slowly introduced to the foster dogs in the home and he was understandably uncomfortable at first.  Having been attacked by dogs, it is important that any dogs he meets go slow and do not chase him.  Frankie is declawed in the front and does not have a way to defend himself if needed.

Frankie loves any attention you can give him and will gladly cuddle with you given the opportunity.  He enjoys being brushed and chasing the laser light.  Since getting used to moving on 3 legs he can now jump up onto the bed, couch and desk to ask for attention.  He has very clean litter habits.

Please visit or call the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast in Palm City at (772) 223-8822 to find out more about adopting Frankie and pets like him.  Frankie is currently hanging out in the Cat Feature Room until he finds his forever home.

To see Frankie all of his adoptable friends stop by the HSTC main shelter at 4100 SW Leighton Farm Ave. in Palm City or visit them online at hstc1.org!
