HSR Constructors mobilizing  large crane over Moore’s Creek

Fort Pierce, Fl (treasurecoast.com) -HSR Constructors will be mobilizing a large crane that they will use for the construction of the bridge over Moore’s Creek. This is for the Brightline extension through the city. Approximately 15 oversized loads will begin to arrive Thursday, February 3rd, and Friday, February 4th.
The route will be southbound on US 1 from the north city limits to Citrus Avenue Bridge. Traffic will be interrupted on US 1 and Citrus Avenue to allow the trucks to navigate over the Citrus Avenue Bridge and head north on 2nd Street. The trucks will continue north through downtown to the King property south of the 2nd Street Bridge (aka Tickle Tummy Hill).
Law enforcement, along with flaggers will assist at the intersections of US 1/ Citrus Ave., Citrus Ave./ 2nd Street, Orange Avenue / 2nd Street, Avenue A / 2nd Street, and the terminus point at the King Property. The transport is limited to daylight hours by FDOT.
In addition, A.E. Backus Avenue will be closed beginning February 21, 2022, for the construction of the overpass at that location. The duration of the closure will be approximately six (6) months.
