High Speed Chase on I-95

Two people inside a car that is wanted in connection with a Fort Pierce murder, were captured following a high-speed chase on I-95 Wednesday afternoon.

Lawmen attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver did not comply and took off.

WSVN reports the chase initially began in the area of Sunrise Boulevard, near Interstate 95. The car then entered I-95 northbound, reaching speeds of over 100 miles per hour, before exiting at Atlantic Avenue.

Two occupants of the vehicle were then captured on N.W. 67th St. in Pompano Beach.

The vehicle is wanted in connection to the murder of  18-year-old Leon Antonio Mobley, who was shot and killed on May 7th in Fort Pierce.
