The same suspect is also responsible for an earlier attempted robbery in Tequesta. Stuart police say he hit a Publix in the city, then continued north to the Walgreens on Kanner Highway and Salerno Road.
Help MCSO find armed robbery suspect
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is seeking any information about the man in this photo below. This suspect robbed the Walgreens on Kanner Highway and Salerno Road about 6:20pm.
The suspect walked into the store, told the clerk he had a gun, then robbed her. He took off in a newer model Nissan. The suspect is identified as a white male, with a dark complexion, heavy build, with sleeve tattoos. If you can identify this man, or you see him, please call 9-1-1.
Update from the Stuart Police
On April 15th at approximately 4:40 pm, a Hispanic male entered Publix at NW Baker Road. The suspect ordered the pharmacist to empty the cabinet that contained the narcotic medications. He said that he had a gun, however, no weapon was shown.
The pharmacist stated that she didn’t have the key and walked away from the suspect.
The suspect fled the area. We received information that an identical incident occurred at Publix in Tequesta at approximately 3:30 pm.
The suspect was seen leaving in a 2016 white Nissan Altima bearing Florida tag EVI-N65. This vehicle was reported stolen from Avis car rental in Port Canaveral. It has been missing approximately one month.
At about 6:30pm, Martin County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Walgreens at Kanner Highway and Salerno Road where a robbery with an implied firearm took place.
