Hadley gets new sentence
Port St Lucie-Tyler Hadley will be getting a new sentence. Hadley murdered his parents in their Port St Lucie home when he was just 17 years old. The story made national news not just for it’s brutality, but because he threw a house party attended by dozens of his friends while his parents bodies were hidden in the bedroom. Hadley plead no contest to the charges in 2011 and was charged to two life sentences in 2014. In 2016 an appeals court ruled that the judge did not correctly consider alternatives to a life sentence. The new sentencing date is scheduled for sometime in September.
