Grand Jury indicts two juveniles in 2015 homicide case

On Tuesday afternoon, the Indian River County Grand Jury returned a true bill, indicting Cazory Henry (17) and Deshaun Marshall (16), both of Gifford, in the May 2015 murder of Reginald Davis Jr. On May 17, 2015 at 6:38 p.m., Indian River County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 4600 block of 39th Avenue in Gifford, where they located a white Ford Crown Victoria with the front doors open and Reginald Davis Jr. inside, with a gunshot wound. Davis died three days later as a result of the gunshot wound.

Indian River County Sheriff Deryl Loar stated, “We are proud to say that these two killers are behind bars today because witnesses were willing to come forward and provide the testimony we needed to bring justice for Reginald Davis Jr. and his family. Our detectives have interviewed a number of witnesses over the past year, knowing that someone out there could help make this case. Cooperation from the community, forensic evidence, and witness cooperation were all key to today’s arrests.”

Henry was arrested today in Indian River County and charged with first degree murder with a firearm and robbery with a deadly weapon where a firearm was discharged. Marshall was serving time at the Okeechobee Youth Development Center in Okeechobee, Florida. Today, he was arrested there and charged with first degree murder with a firearm and robbery with a deadly weapon where a firearm was discharged. Both are being charged as adults and will be held without bond.
