Ginger HSTC Pet of the week March 30

Ginger HSTC Pet of the week March 30

Ginger has had a rather rough start to her stay here at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. She was brought in to our care on March 4th when Martin County Animal Services were called out to do a welfare check as she was extremely thin. When Animal Services arrived they were told by the tenets of the home that the previous tenets had moved out and left Ginger behind!

When she was examined by a veterinarian here at HSTC, the vet found that she had incredibly poor dental health in addition to being emaciated. Poor Ginger had a lot of dental work done, has put on some weight, and is now ready to be adopted! Ginger enjoys leash walks around the building and is currently living in our cat feature room with a handful of feline friends. She is very social and affectionate with people. She loves to cuddle and be pet; plus she purrs like a little freight train. Ginger is 11 years young and would be the perfect addition to any home. To view Ginger and all of her adoptable friends, visit HSTC online at hstc1.org.
