Ft Pierce turnpike crash with serious injuries
Ft Pierce, Fl- The St. Lucie County Fire District responded to a car accident that happened early Saturday morning at mile marker 150 southbound on the Turnpike.
Fire officials say a minivan and a semi-truck got into an accident at around 4:00 a.m.
The driver of the minivan was trapped the fire officials said. He was then transported to a local hospital in serious condition. No other injuries were reported.
There was only one occupant in the minivan.
