FORT PIERCE POLICE DEPARTMENT MAKE AN ARREST IN THE HOMICIDE AT THE LUCKY 7

On February 3, 2016, victims Laborious Works and Amber Osmond were driven to Lawnwood Emergency Room for treatment for gunshots wounds. Works succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds and Osmond was listed in stable condition with a gunshot wound to her lower torso. Further investigation revealed that while the two victims were sitting in a parked vehicle at the Lucky 7, 510 N. 13th Street, the defendant approached and fired numerous rounds into the vehicle for an unknown reason.
Through their investigative skills, Detectives of the Fort Pierce Police Department were able to establish probable cause to issue a warrant and arrest Jimmy Wayne Reed III for First & Attempted First Degree Murder charges, along with Shooting a Deadly Missile. Reed was arrested without incident.
