ANNOUNCES NEW COVID-19 TESTING SITES

Treasure Coast (treasurecoast.com) -Florida Department of Health in St. Lucie County in collaboration with Allied Health and St. Lucie Board of County Commissioners will open a new walk-up COVID-19 testing site starting on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 9 a.m. at the Gwenda Thompson Trades Career Center on 3855 S. US Hwy 1, Fort Pierce, Florida 34982.
 
The testing site will operate 7 days a week, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. No appointment necessary.

Testing is free.  For persons with health insurance, Allied Health will bill the insurance company and will not charge a co-pay.

COVID-19 vaccine will also be offered for all eligible persons.

Contact the COVID-19 information line (772) 446-8480 Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., to learn more about testing and vaccination locations throughout St. Lucie County.

The Florida Department of Health in Martin County (DOH-Martin) is expanding COVID-19 testing opportunities in the county. Beginning Monday, August 23, DOH-Martin, in partnership with Curative, Inc. will offer free testing, seven days a week from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm at 3441 SE Willoughby Blvd., Stuart

Insurance is not required and a total of two hundred PCR and rapid antigen tests will be available daily. Testing appointments are recommended and available at www.Curative.com. Walk-up service is also available.

COVID-19 testing is also available at most retail pharmacies and doctor’s offices. A list of vaccination and testing sites is available at www.floridahealthcovid19.gov.
