FIRST VOTE High School Voter Registration Drive

St. Lucie County, FL – The Supervisor of Elections will kick off the 2018 Annual First Vote High School Voter Registration Drive, with the proclamation from St. Lucie County School Board, declaring First Vote Week, April 9th through April 13th.

First Vote is a classroom-based, voter education and registration program. It is conducted in high school Social Studies, World History, Civics and American Government classes.

The staff along with volunteers will be on campus at every high school during First Vote Week.

All students will have the opportunity to register to vote. Students who are 16 and 17 years of age are able to pre-register to vote. Students who are 18 years old or attain the age of 18 by July 30, 2018 will be eligible to vote in this year’s United States Senator, U.S. Representatives, and Governor in the elections scheduled 2018.
