  • Introduction:Free event.Freedomfest is how Port St. Lucie residents show their pride in the nation and the community. This traditional, patriotic salute is free and open to the public. Make sure to bring your lawn chair!Festivities begin at 4 p.m. with live music entertainment by The Groove Soul Band. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. A show-stopping fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m., weather permitting.Parking and admission are free. For more information, call 772-878-2277.

    Make this Independence Day an experience you won’t forget by purchasing a ticket to the MIDFLORIDA Event Center’s Ultimate 4th of July Experience. Ticket purchase includes Blazin’ BBQ’s Buffet, refreshments and desert. Guests 21 years and older are encouraged to try the complimentary signature cocktail, The Patriot, a refreshing blend of vodka, lemonade and blue Curaçao topped with a splash of grenadine. A full-service cash bar will also be available. There’ll be an interactive Kid’s Zone with activities including face painting, balloon artists and much more! Then when you think it can’t get any better, you will have special, reserved seating to view the fireworks
