FHP Report: Fatal crash SR 60 eastbound at 87th Ave
Indian River County (treasurecoast.com)- FHP has given us an update regarding the fatal crash on SR 60 eastbound at 87th Ave.
The crash involved a vehicle and a cyclist. It left 1 pedestrian dead.
Vehicle 1 is a 35 yo male driver in a pickup truck from Vero Beach. Pedestrian (Bicycle) is a 28 yo female from Vero Beach. She was fatally injured.
Vehicle-1 was traveling eastbound on State Road 60 in the right lane. A bicyclist was crossing SR-60 heading northbound across the eastbound lanes of traffic. As the bicyclist crossed SR-60, Vehicle-1’s right front struck the bicyclist. After impact, the bicyclist was transported to Cleveland Clinic Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.
