FHP id’s fifth person in fiery Ft Pierce crash

St. Lucie County, Fl- The Florida Highway Patrol has identified the fifth person who died in a horrific fiery crash that claimed the lives of five young people.

Investigators say 27-year-old Kedan Tillett of Fort Pierce was driving the Dodge Dakota that burst into flames Friday night in St. Lucie County.

Earlier, FHP identified the other deceased individuals as 21-year old Anthony Victor, 16-year old Anthony Martin, 21-year old Darien Douglas, and 17-year old Alexis Chaney. According to the FHP, a 2004 GMC Yukon driven by 21-year-old Tanner Dashner was traveling south on 25th Street approaching Midway Road Friday evening when he crashed into the rear of the Dodge Dakota. The crash caused the Dakota to become fully engulfed in fire, killing the driver and 4 occupants. A 14-year old who was also in the Dakota survived.

The crash remains under investigation.
