Fatal Crash involving a motorcycle on Kanner and Cove Rd
Martin County, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- MCSO and FHP were on the scene of a fatal crash involving a motorcycle. This happened on Kanner Hwy / and Cove Rd.
FHP reported this at 5:01 PM
“The Ft Pierce FHP District is currently working a confirmed fatality on SR-76 (Kanner Hwy) and Cove Rd. Cove Rd is closed in both directions near Kanner Hwy, and traffic is being diverted onto a side road. The crash involves a vehicle and trike motorcycles. The rider of the bike is dead. The crash remains under investigation.”
This is what we know from FHP at this time
“Richard McGinnis (34) was driving a Pacifica. Paul Ryan (88) was on his motorcycle. Both were traveling eastbound on SR-76 (Kanner Hwy). For unknown reasons, McGinnis front collided with Paul Ryan’s rear. Mr Ryan was pronounced dead at Martin Memorial South.
The crash remains under investigation.”
