TreasureCoasts,Fl– Today is the day. If you have not voted the polls opened at 7am.

Here is some info!

Martin County Votes

MORE THAN ONE-THIRD OF FLORIDA’S REGISTERED VOTERS HAVE ALREADY CAST BALLOTS. AS OF YESTERDAY MORNING, THE STATE DIVISION OF ELECTIONS REPORTED THAT MORE THAN FIVE-POINT-ONE MILLION FLORIDIANS HAD VOTED EARLY OR VOTED BY MAIL.

Turnout for early voting this year was nearly double that of the midterms from 2014.

In Martin County, nearly 50,000 ballots have already been cast. In St Lucie County, the number is over 74,000.

IF YOU HAVE YET TO RETURN A VOTE-BY-MAIL BALLOT, FLORIDA ELECTIONS OFFICIALS SAY IT’S TOO LATE TO SEND IT IN NOW. BUT YOU DO HAVE OTHER OPTIONS. YOU CAN BRING THE VOTE-BY-MAIL BALLOT TO YOUR LOCAL POLLING LOCATION TODAY AND TRADE IT IN FOR AN IN-PERSON BALLOT. OR YOU CAN TAKE THE FILLED OUT MAIL-IN BALLOT TO YOUR COUNTY’S ELECTIONS OFFICE; IT MUST BE RECEIVED BY 7pm TONIGHT. AND IF YOU HAVE YET TO CAST YOUR BALLOT, REMEMBER TO BRING SOME FORM OF I-D WITH YOU TO YOUR *ASSIGNED POLLING PLACE. WHILE MOST VOTERS MAY USE A DRIVER’S LICENSE OR STATE ISSUED I-D CARD, OTHER ACCEPTABLE FORMS INCLUDE PASSPORTS, DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS, ALONG WITH MILITARY, STUDENT AND RETIREMENT CENTER I-D’S AMONG OTHERS.

Tune to WPSL, WSTU, and WJNX La Gigante for up to the minute updates in St Lucie and Martin Counties. Coverage starts at 7 o’clock when the polls close, and you can also listen in online at WSTU1450.com.

We wish all the candidates the best of luck!
