Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit Helps Locate Missing PSL Man

St. Lucie County, F (treasurecoast.com)l- The St Lucie Sheriff’s office helped to locate a missing Port St. Lucie man.  The Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit actively searched the woods and train track area near where the the man was last seen.

Through their efforts, the pilot and tactical flight officer located the man, landed and rendered immediate aid until fire rescue personnel could arrive for further treatment.

Port St. Lucie, Fl- The PSLPD has reported they have found Porfirio Corales Obando.

They reported that on Sunday, December 1, 2019 with the help of St. Lucie County Air Rescue, Porfirio Corales Obando was safely recovered.

Police requested the assistance of SLC Air Rescue. Shortly after Porfirio Obando was seen by SLC Air Rescue in the area of the railroad tracks at the C-24 canal in Port St. Lucie. He was alert and talking.  However, he  is being transported/ airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The PSLPD thanks all of you who shared the information and assisted in this investigation.

 

Port St. Lucie, Fl- The Port St. Lucie Police is asking the communities help to find a 88 year old man with dementia and diabetes.

UPDATE: Police continue to ask for the public’s help in finding eighty-eight year-old Missing Endangered Porfirio Corales Obando. He went missing the evening of Thanksgiving Day. Police are asking for anyone with information about Porfirio’s whereabouts to contact 9-1-1, or the Port St. Lucie Police Department 772-871-5000.

The Port St. Lucie Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating eighty-eight-year old Porfirio Corales Obando, DOB 2/16/1931, (7600 NW Greenspring Street, Port St. Lucie). Porfirio Corales Obando is diagnosed with dementia and diabetes. He is visiting from Palm Beach County and left the residence on foot in an unknown direction; looking for a bus station. He left during the evening hours of 4:11 pm on November 28, 2019. He was last seen by his granddaughter. Porfirio Corales Obando is believed to be alone and speaks very little English.

Porfirio Corales Obando is described as a Hispanic male, 5’6″ tall, weighing 130 lbs., gray hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a navy-blue jacket, light pink shirt, brown pants and a beige hat.
