Dog thrown out of car in Okeechobee

Okeechobee, Fla (Treasurecoast.com)- A dog was tossed out of a moving car like a piece of trash and the driver never looked back! This is according to Ray Cashwell who witnessed the whole thing. The dog, now dubbed Bill, was abandoned and left to die.

This happened near highway 70 in Okeechobee Tuesday morning. Ray Cashwell said the dog was  chasing after it’s owner while the car drove away. The dog wouldn’t come to Cashwell, so he called the Trail of Hope Animal Rescue in Okeechobee.

Okeechobee animal control workers are monitoring the dog to ensure its health.
