Dog rescued, boy hospitalized, after residential fire in PSL.

Port St. Lucie, Fla- At 8:57 am, several units responded with Port St. Lucie Police to a call for a residential fire in the 2000 block of Stonecrop Street. The fire was located in the garage, but the cause is under investigation. Three people were outside of the residence when crews arrived.

Port St. Lucie Police, and St. Lucie County Fire Rescue crews rescued a dog, and took a boy to a local hospital.

A washing machine caught fire in the garage, but the official cause is under investigation.
