At approximately 11:00 A.M. today, Indian River Fire Rescue and St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office dive teams will enter the Indian River Lagoon near the base of the Barber Bridge to search for evidence in the 2014 homicide of Dominique Dawson. Detectives received information that a vital piece of evidence in the case may be located at the bottom of the Indian River Lagoon. Our detectives continuously search for justice for all of the families who have lost loved ones to violence. I am confident that we are one step closer to solving this case.” Anyone with information about this case or any other criminal cases are encouraged to contact Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-TIPS (8477) or visit their website at www.tcwatch.org.
