DETECTIVES ARREST TWO JUVENILES FOR HURLING LARGE ROCKS INTO PASSING VEHICLES IN PALM CITY

13-year old Jager Reinhart, and 13-year old Nicholas Rose, both of Palm City, were arrested and charged with five felonies including throwing a deadly missile into an occupied vehicle and aggravated battery.

Students at Hidden Oaks Middle School provided valuable leads to detectives that helped solve this case. The two suspects confessed to throwing the rocks at cars driving along SW High Meadow Avenue on two separate dates. They said they threw the rocks then listened as they crashed into passing cars. Two people were injured in one of the assaults when the driver and passenger were hit with a 16 ounce rock and flying glass. There were a total of six victims and detectives expect more to come forward.

Both teens were booked into the Martin County Jail, then transported to the juvenile detention center in Ft. Pierce.
