Palm Beach County Sheriff
Just before noon, yesterday, a passerby located a body floating in a canal in suburban Boynton Beach. The passerby immediately notified 911. Deputies responded and secured the scene until detectives from the Violent Crimes Division and Crime Scene Investigators arrived to investigate further.
Further investigation has determined the body found floating was of an adult male. The medical examiner’s office has responded and will have the body transported to their office.
Detectives believe NO foul play is suspected, however, an autopsy will determine the cause of death.
