DANCING TO THE BEAT OF “THE NUTCRACKER”!

FADC debuts the traditional classic with a gentle twist

(Stuart – , Fla) – There are many versions of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker, but none sweeter to the students at Florida Arts & Dance Company (FADC). Now in its 21st year, FADC students will perform with guest artists from Russian Ballet Orlando December 8 and 9 at the Lyric Theatre in downtown Stuart. The studio will also debut something new this year. You will see a sensory sensitive performance on December 10 with subdued lights and sound called, The Gentle Nutcracker.

“The Nutcracker is truly a holiday tradition for our community. Families and people of all ages enjoy the uplifting music and festive dance. We are offering The Gentle Nutcracker for those who might enjoy the show, but need more a more relaxed atmosphere with softer lights and sounds.” said Joann Gallagher, FADC President.

Producing The Nutcracker performances takes time and dedication from the whole FADC team. “Our dancers, instructors, families and friends work for months to put our performances together. We are very focused on a high-quality production that puts the audience in the holiday spirit!”
