Crews battle large fire at Hog Technologies in Stuart

Martin County, Fl (treasurecoast.com) – Martin County Fire Rescue battled a large fire at a Stuart manufacturing site Friday night.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office said that around 9 p.m., crews were dispatched to Hog Technologies on SE Commerce Avenue and SE Market Place.

Hog Technologies also known as Waterblasting Technologies started as a small pressure cleaning company founded in 1988 by President & CEO, James P. Crocker. Now Hog Technologies is recognized as the world leader in road and runway paint and rubber removal equipment.

Martin County Fire Rescue, Stuart Fire Rescue and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office is on the scene of a large fire at Hog Technologies on SE Commerce Avenue and SE Market Place.

At least two explosions have been reported. Deputies have shut down SE Commerce Ave while firefighters work the blaze. There is heavy smoke in the area. Please avoid the area if possible. At this time it is believed that everyone is out of the building, however there is extensive damage. We will update information as it becomes available.
