Crash Kills 3 in Indiantown.
An early morning car crash killed three men from Indiantown.
It happened Monday morning on State Road 710 just 2 miles south of Kanner Highway.
A 2003 Mercury was driving north on 710 when the driver attempted to pass a tractor-trailer, but instead collided head on with a 1998 Honda Civic. The three men in the Honda all were pronounced dead at the scene.
The FHP identified them as 47-year old Odilon Velasquez Morales, 34-year old Abel Perez Hernandez and 34-year old Carlos Lopez Maldanado. The two men in the Mercury sustained serious injuries and were taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center.
The FHP says that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
There was also bad a accident in Palm City.
