COLD WEATHER SHELTER TO OPEN AT 10TH STREET COMMUNITY CENTER, STUART, FL 34994, ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 14, 2023 AT 5 P.M.
A cold front is expected to pass through today, January 13, 2023, accompanied with rain and isolated thunderstorms. Behind the front, temperatures will decrease, with wind chill temperatures dropping into mid to low 40s for Saturday and Sunday mornings.
A cold weather shelter will open at 10th Street Community Center, 724 SE 10th Street, Stuart. FL 34994, on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 5 p.m. and close on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 8 a.m.

Cold Weather Shelter to Open Saturday, January 14 in Martin County

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are currently forecast to remain above freezing with the coldest temperatures expected Sunday morning. By Monday morning, temperatures will have recovered, with most counties above 40° F for their morning lows. Areas along/near the barrier island will be slightly warmer.

Martin County would like to recognize the following partners for their support in this effort – 10th Street Community Center, LAHIA, Family Promise, House of Hope, Salvation Army, Stuart Police Department, Martin County Sheriff’s Office, United Way and the Martin Interagency Network for Disasters (MIND).
