PORT SAINT LUCIE – Residents can now enjoy Rotary Park’s new, state-of-the-art playground that provides an ideal location for children of all ages to enjoy hours of creative playtime. The construction of these new elements was made possible by a Community Development Block Grant of $286,000.
Established in 1983, Rotary Park is located at 2101 SE Tiffany Ave., next to Woodstork Trail, and is home to the Port St. Lucie Police Athletic League. Rotary Park comprises 8.5 acres; one practice softball/ballfield, a new inclusive playground for ages 2-5 and 5-12, a multipurpose field, a walking trail, a large family pavilion, and 18-hole disc golf and much more.
“Rotary Park can provide children and youth hours of fun and adventure. The new elements to the treasured park provide a chance for park-goers to stretch their muscles and their imaginations as they explore the many ways to use this playground,” says Mike Kendrick, Deputy Director-Parks, Parks and Recreation Department.

The project completely upgraded the park’s amenities with new equipment, including slide and slide and geometric shapes that capture a child’s imagination as they explore, learn and socialize. The park has exciting spinning activities, climbing, slides, swings to enhance coordination and balance challenges. Additionally, the new playground adds a large, challenging climbing wall with a shade structure to protect children from extreme heat.
The new playground cost totaled $381,000. For more information, please visit www.PSLParks.com/parks-map
