Child-pornography suspect held on $100,000 bond

Martin County, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Martin County Sheriff is holding a child-ponography suspect for 100,000 bond.
This is what they said:
“Following months of investigation, Martin County Sheriff’s Detectives arrested 34-year old Robert Evan Bouchlas, who list his residence in Lake Worth, but detectives believe he was actually living in Hobe Sound. Bouchlas, who is already a registered sexual predator, was using social media to solicit who he thought was a 15-year old girl for sex. However, Bouchlas unknowingly was communicating with an undercover MCSO Special Victim’s Unit detective who monitors the internet for such predators.
Throughout the investigation, Bouchlas transmitted sexually explicit photos to the undercover detective.
Detectives served a warrant on Bouchlas, at which time they found hundreds of images depicting highly disturbing child pornography including images of infants and toddlers subjected to or being forced to engage in acts of bondage and torture. The lead detective referred to this as one of the most disturbing cases of his career.
Bouchlas was arrested and charged with 100 counts of possession of child pornography. A judge set his bond at 10-million dollars.
This case again highlights the need for all parents to monitor your children’s social media and gaming accounts. For every individual who preys on children we are able to arrest, there are many more we will not be able to catch.”
