Child Hit by car in St Lucie County

A child has been transported by air to a St Mary’s trauma center after being hit by a car.

This happened at 10:40am. The located was at the intersection of 8th Street and Atlantic Ave in Fort Pierce.

St Lucie Fire District responded.

The child has non threatening injuries.
