Burglary suspect behind bars
The man suspected of multiple burglaries along the Treasure Coast and throughout Palm Beach County was captured. After a short pursuit they arrested him in a in a parking garage.
Martin County Sheriff’s Detectives working alongside the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tracked 37-year old Dana Lee Miller. He attempted to hide in a parking garage in Palm Beach County.
Miller was wanted in connection with burglaries to homes, vehicles, and business in Martin, Palm Beach and St. Lucie Counties. His main target appeared to be lawn care equipment. Much of the stolen property was pawned at area pawn shops.
Miller is being held at the Palm Beach County Jail on charges of dealing in stolen property and fraud-proving false owner information to pawnshops.
He will be transferred to Martin County to face charges of burglary, grand theft, and fleeing and eluding. Miller also has existing arrest warrants from St. Lucie Counties.
Miller already has an extensive crime history, which includes multiple arrests for burglary.
