Big Apple Pizza holds fundraiser for Layne Chesney
Fort Pierce, Fl-Today, Big Apple Pizza and the Van Duzer Foundation
are hosting for the Love of Layne to help Layne and her family.
It’s been almost one month since a 14-year-old girl was severely burned in Fort Pierce. Deputies said Layne Chesney put gasoline on a fire when that fire got out of control and engulfed Chesney. She suffers from burns on 95 percent of her body. She’s fighting for her life at Kendall Regional Medical Center in Miami.
Today, Big Apple Pizza and the Van Duzer Foundation are hosting for the Love of Layne to help Layne and her family.
The Big Apple Pizza is located in Fort Pierce on the corner of Virginia Avenue and 35th Street, right next to the campus of Indian River State College.
Parking is expected to be an issue. The city will supply a trolley to shuttle people back and forth from nearby fields.
