Another day, another scam.
On Tuesday, Vero Beach Police were told of a suspicious incident whereby a woman, supposedly representing Vivint Security Company was going door to door performing an alarm security survey on behalf of Vero Beach Police.
She advised the homeowners that they may be eligible for an upgrade to their alarm system, which would be paid for by the City of Vero Beach.
Not true say police, who do not send civilian individuals out to perform any surveys.
