Beware of Holiday Vandals in Martin County

Martin County, Fla- There’s a grinch running loose in Martin County. Someone is stealing holiday lights from people’s homes, and robbing them of the holiday spirit. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office says that within a few days they have received four different calls involving the theft or vandalism of Christmas lights. Someone unplugged and stole a lawn laser display from a home on 169th Avenue in Indiantown. The following day two more laser light displays were stolen from a home on SW Three Wood Way, also in Indiantown. Someone also cut the power cords to the Christmas lights on the gates of the Oak Ridge Community in Palm City. And in Jensen Beach there was a report of Christmas decorations being vandalized. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office said it wasn’t clear if the incidents were all related, but ask anyone to report if and when you see or hear anything suspicious.
