Barricaded gunman in Stuart taken into Custody
Stuart police arrested a 45-year-old man following a hostage standoff at a home in Stuart today. The home was at 16th Court and Palm Beach Road.
Officers were dispatched at about 9:35 a.m.
Stuart police Detective Jeffery Kittredge said that a night of drinking and drug use provoked him. He held his girlfriend and family members against their will.
Patrick Rogan faces charges of sexual battery, battery, aggravated assault and false imprisonment.
