Sparrow is looking for an extra special adopter; this active, playful kitten is FelV (Feline Leukemia Virus) positive. FelV is a contagious viral disease that effects a cat’s immune system. FelV positive cats can have normal, happy lives even if they are typically shorter than that of a FelV negative cat. Since FelV is contagious, it is strongly recommended that Sparrow’s new home have either no other cats or cats who are also FelV positive. At this time Sparrow is a healthy 5 month old kitten who is not showing any signs of FelV-related disease.
