Adopt Patches & Bruce! Pets of the Week!

Patches is a sweet and shy, 7-year-old female who was adopted as a kitten and recently returned to us due to a new family member developing allergies. Patches lived with another cat in her previous home and the two got along great. She also peacefully coexisted with the dogs in the home and even slept next to them on occasion. Her previous family says that she gets along with all types of people, including children, can be very talkative and playful, and is a total lap cat! Her adoption fee has been generously sponsored and she can’t wait to find her furrever home with you!

Bruce is a 7-year-old, male pup who recently arrived at our shelter due to his owner not being able to afford his care. He was very loved in his previous home and is confused as to why he ended up at the shelter. His previous owner states that he does very well with children and all animals, including cats. Bruce is house trained and knows his basic commands. This 66 pound sweetie would love a home where he can cuddle up and sleep with his humans each night in a warm, comfy bed.

These pets and many more are available for adoption through the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast.

Locations to adopt are the HSTC Main Shelter at 4100 SW Leighton Farm Ave. in Palm City, the HSTC Thrift Store Central at 2585 SE Federal Highway in Stuart, and the HSTC Thrift Store North at 1099 NW 21st St. in Stuart.

Normal adoption hours are Monday through Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.
