Adopt Marmaduke: Pet of the Week
Marmaduke is a 5 year Catahoula Leopard Dog and Great Dane mix. He has been patiently waiting on his forever home since June of 2019.
Marmaduke is a very handsome boy and is looking for a home that lives up to his very specific requirements. Marmaduke cannot go to a home with any other pets and he cannot live with children under the age of 16 years old. He can be very picky about the people and animals he interacts with and we want to set him up for success in his new home. Marmaduke is a strong, smart pup who loves toys and treats. He can occasionally become a bit overprotective of his treats though. He is ready to be the perfect companion for his perfect family.
Due to Marmaduke’s picky preferences, his exposure to the public has been limited. If you’d like to meet him you need to ask for Marmaduke at the front desk. Since a shelter environment is not ideal for Marmaduke, we have also reached out to more than 100 rescues throughout the state of Florida and so far we have had no luck. He is available for rescue placement or adoption to a very special home.
