Talk about timing!   The Army Corp of Engineers is casting doubt on the proposed reservoir that would hold water south of Lake Okeechobee before sending it to the Everglades. The corp did say the design was quote “feasible”, but said it may not meet the goal of cleaning water before sending it to the Everglades. The Corp also said the plan doesn’t meet their safety requirements, and may be more expensive than estimated.

Still, Congressman Brian Mast said the important thing is that the plan has been approved and can move forward while the issues are worked out.

SFWMD you got a lot of splannin to do! (Everyone insisted it was not big enough. SFWMD said it would work.  Why in the world were they not working together?
