92 year-old man dies in Okeechobee crash
Okeechobee– A 92-year-old man was killed in a crash in Okeechobee.
According to FHP a 92 year-old man, Donald C. Biesemeyer, died as a result of a crash in Okeechobee. Florida Highway Patrol said the elderly driver was in in a pickup truck traveling westbound on S.R. 78. made a U-turn on State Road 78 Wednesday afternoon.
Rolando Reyes, a truck driver from Clewiston was also traveling westbound behind Mr. Biesemeyer. He swerved to avoid a crash, but the two vehicles ended up colliding, according to FHP investigators
Mr Biesemeyer was pronounced dead on the scene by Okeechobee Fire Rescue.
The case is pending investigation.
