Martin County, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Martin County Sheriff has reported that a suspect was arrested with nearly 20,000 in stolen jewelry.

This is what happened:

TALLAHASSEE MAN WITH BIG PLANS TO STEAL, PAYS BIGGER PRICE WHEN HE TAKES THE #WRONGEXIT TO DO IT
Let’s start on the north end of town where 24-year old Kearston Javon Price of Tallahassee went on a quest for some jewelry.

Unfortunately for him, the price wasn’t right so he opted to steal instead of deal.

Kearston Price returned to Martin County with the same budget he has been working with for some time. Zero. So when he visited the fine jewelry counter at a department store at the Treasure Coast Mall, he was ready to walk away with some expensive 14k gold chains.

The clerk was helpful and pulled out some of the finest gold necklaces for Mr. Price. He tried them on, and was 100-percent satisfied with the quality and the service. But Mr. Price didn’t ask the cost of the jewelry, he just closed the deal by running off with the bling still attached.

He successfully made his way to Kanner Highway in the borrowed car he was driving. But that’s where the gold rush ended. Despite his best effort to flee, MCSO captured Kearston Price just before he made it to the interstate. Price was arrested with nearly 20-thousand dollars in stolen jewelry still on his neck. He was charged with grand theft of property of $10,000–$20,000.

Kearston Price is no stranger to this type of crime. He is also wanted on a Martin County warrant for a past robbery by sudden snatching and grand theft of up to $20,000 charge. He has another warrant out of Broward County for robbery by sudden snatching, dealing in stolen property and false verification of ownership.

The story is the same in Ocala where a warrant for grand theft of property between $10,000–$20,000, false ownership to a pawn broker and dealing in stolen property awaits.
