76 Golf World Family Fun Center will be closing

Martin County, Fl (treasurecoast.com) -A long-running entertainment complex in Martin County is closing.
The 76 Golf World Family Fun Center on Kanner Highway in Stuart announced Wednesday online its last day of operation will be Nov. 7.
“After close to 32 years in business, the owner has decided to retire,” according to its website. “We want to thank everyone that has supported us throughout the years, and we hope we gave you all a lot of cherished memories. It’s been fun.”
According to a post signed by Steve Coy on 76 Golf World’s Facebook page, the property hasn’t been sold yet.
“The owner and I think it’s time,” according to the post.
The 76 Golf World Family Fun Center is the only golf entertainment facility in the county. It has two 18-hole mini golf courses, go-karts for kids and adults, a driving range, batting cages, an arcade, bumper cars, jump shot basketball and kiddie bumper boats.
For many years, 76 Golf World, located midway between the 8 miles which separate Martin County High School and South Fork High School, displayed a 6-foot high plexiglass football helmet on a golf cart parked in front of the mini-golf course and painted in the school colors of the team which won Martin Bowl as it was called.
