57-year-old man stole vehicle from Martin County; Arrested in PSL

Port St. Lucie, Fl- a 57-year-old man stole a vehicle from Martin County and was subsequently arrested in Port St. Lucie.

On June 9, 2019, Port St. Lucie Police arrested Joseph Franklin Barron. He is facing charges of Grand Theft of a motor vehicle.  The vehicle was reported stolen out of Martin County.

On June 9, 2019 at around 8:35 am, police went to 161 SE Crosspoint Drive PSL, for reports of a possible stolen vehicle parked at the swale of this residence.  Police learned Joseph Barron was not inside of the home at the time contact was made with the homeowner, however Joseph Barron was found inside of a shed in the backyard. Police were able to confirm Joseph Barron had possession of the vehicle. Joseph Franklin Barron was arrested and charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle. The vehicle was returned to its owner.
